The Artists that Create it!
The First in a Long Series on Organizing Your Fiber Studios. I am often wondering how to organize my studios.. Everytime I move (since I am a renter) I must change how things fit into the spaces available or when there are no spaces and you must create space. Large fleeces, roving, batts and just about any other fiber related items can be very unwieldy when it comes to a storage solution that includes neatness, tidiness, and still having an aesthetic appeal. When I am working, when I want or need to work, I have a very hard time staying focused when there is a cluttered mess in my studio, as well as any other room in the house. I haven't always been this way but as I grow older I find that I prefer being able to find an item. As I move about often, it's soo much easier to move when your items are organized. This is been a learning experience. Of which I am still learning and finding new ways of storing items. My budget is not large therefore I must find economical ways when available. Thrift Stores, Facebook Online Yard Sales, and Craigslist are my biggest ways to finding items on a budget. Follow Us on Instagram for Specials, New Items, Giveaways and Coupon Codes!
